Shelf was found at Goodwill for $1.99, was really dusty, and was bare wood.  The whole shelf was primed in gesso, and then painted in iridescent white paint.  Over the paint, I mod podged papers from Donna Salazar’s Spring In Bloom collection, and Crafty Chronicle. The little heart shaped door is made using layers of Mix’d Media Inx, and Fairy Dust Glitter. The inside is papered in Spring In Bloom, and the curtain is made from a vintage doily.

Altered Flower Pot

Created using small terracotta flower pot, primed in gesso. Papers are Donna Salazar Antiquities, and adhered using a blend of mod podge and a bit of gesso. Flower is handmade, using DS papers, and canvas. Denim is upcycled. Plate is painted with a blend of smooch and white acrylic paint. The butterfly is stamped on very heavy paper, and covered with Mod Podge. Seambinding is hand dyed with smooch.
