Summer Adventures {Blog Hop with Viva Las VegaStamps! and Genuinely Jane Studios}

Hello and welcome to Sparkling Gnome Studios, if you’ve not happened upon my little corner of the blogosphere before. I’m Amy and I’m so excited to share my project created for Viva Las VegaStamps! and Genuinely Jane Studios. Hopefully you arrived here from Kimberly’s blog!

This book I made for the hop is a celebration of the awesome summer my family and I have had so far.
Summer Adventure Mini, GJS VLVS, ALassiter
I worked with the Genuinely Jane Wood Books-Square with Star Cut out, and Arrow,  and I mixed and matched the pages. I created the outside cover, using  the one way large   and one way small stamps, using different shades of ink in pink. I also used the Adventure Awaits stamp, which was just perfect for the title.

This book is running chronologically through our summer, so I started with the first big event, a Marina and The Diamonds concert, in May. For these pages, I used the one way small, large arrow heart and cracked background stamps:

Next up was our AMAZING two week trip to Oahu, Hawaii. For these pages shown (there are more), I used the hands pointing ,  and the Road Not Taken and Octopus/Cephalopod stamps.

When we returned to “The Flip Side”….back to Kansas, we went to the pool a lot. For this page, I used the tiny arrow heart and On The Flip Side VLVS stamps.

And finally, we’re up to the last few weeks, and my husband’s birthday:

Believe it or not, I have EVEN MORE pages from this mini to share, and I’ll have those up tomorrow. Thanks so much to Genuinely Jane Studios for letting us work with their wonderful wood albums! I am so excited you popped by my little gnome hole here, and next, you’ll be visiting my beautiful and talented friend Emily’s blog!

Below is the hop order…..believe me, you will be inspired, so please hop along with us!
