The other day, Ivy sighs and says “I *really* want to be a superstar….”….and that was the inspiration for this layout. 🙂 I love this pic of her jumping off of the front stoop. I love her happy little face.

I completely interpreted this sketch in an “abnormal” way. 😉   I was supposed to use a 4×6, with 2 3×4 photos next to it. So I did a 4×6 photo, with 2 3×4 banners, with tiny photos on them. I wanted a chance to layer up all of the goodies in the Lucky Girl Crafts “Forever Love” kit (it is full of shabby chic awesomeness)….and this was the way I could do that. I also didn’t want to cover any of the beautiful flower on the bottom right….and this design accommodated that.

These fabric border strips are SO awesome. I love the texture. I cut pieces of them to make my banners, too…and layered to add some dimension.

This certainly was a fun project for a stormy evening, though my ott light kept flickering on and off. That’s the best part of rainy and stormy weather… guilt about spending the evening in the scrap room!  Happy Wednesday, scrappy friends! I am off to create some more…..(it’s pouring down rain here yet again).
